Peacebuilding is challenging work, especially in the Israeli-Palestinian context during this moment of crisis. You might think twice about entering this field, or worry about sustaining a long-term career in it.


ATLI Gateway gives you the skills, tools, and support network you need to forge a sustainable career in peacebuilding and create lasting change. Whether you're an early-career professional or looking to pivot from another sector, this program is designed for you.

HOW DOES IT WORK? 

Through an immersive professional development experience, you'll:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the role of social change within peacebuilding

  • Meet the people and learn about the programs and strategies shaping the field today

  • Build skills and tools to navigate challenges and complexity

  • Join a resilient and supportive professional community

Over four months, you'll participate in:

  • 11 weekly evening sessions

  • Professional storytelling overnight seminar

  • Dual narrative tour of Jerusalem

  • West Bank study trip

  • Site visits to NGOs and meetings with activists

  • Capstone project to practice your change-making skills

OUR IMPACT SO FAR 

Our pilot program in 2023 showed both the need and potential of this new initiative. Among the 12 alumni from our inaugural cohort:

  • Five now work in entry-level positions at peacebuilding organizations

  • Two serve the field as independent guides and artists

  • One is pursuing continued peacebuilding training

  • One leads an organization as CEO
